Vejle Libraries welcomes our new international students at SDU Vejle
We are pleased to introduce you to the many services a Danish library has to offer.

As a registered user of the library you can free of charge…
- borrow books, films, music and audio books in a variety of languages, both for pleasure and for your studies.
- get access to the library's range of digital resources that can support you in your studies. You can access most of them anywhere from your own computer.
With Ebook Central and Ebook Central Plus you can read thousands of English-language Ebooks in a wide range of subject areas. With Gale in Context and Explora from Ebsco you have access to a large number of articles and references to articles from magazines, reference works and primary sources.
With eReolen Global and Libby you can read popular Ebooks and magazines in English and with PressReader you can read today's newspapers from more than 90 countries.
You can access further reading at the Danish national library collections via www.bibliotek.dk, order them and pick them up at Vejle Libraries.
How do I find the library?
Vejle Libraries are temporarily located next to SDU Vejle at Spinderihallerne. By the end of November, you will find us back in our renovated premises at Engen, Willy Sørensens Plads 1.

How do I join the library?
In order to register at the library, you need to apply in person. Your Danish Medical Card must be shown on application.
If you do not have permanent residence in Denmark and therefore do not have a Danish Medical Card, you can become a registered user of Vejle Libraries by showing the following forms of identification: Your passport and documentation for your temporary address in this country. As documentation you can use your tenancy agreement confirming your adress.
